This model and a couple similar to it are very unique in the history of Timex. This is one of the only times Timex released a watch with screw down case back, screw down crown, uni-directional bezel, and 100 meter water resistance all in one watch. I have named it the "Turtle" due to its resemblance to the Seiko "Turtle" type case.
