This particular Timex is sought after by collectors of the brand and military watch enthusiasts alike. The Mil Spec was built specifically to U.S. military standards (note the caseback). This contract never went through, and what Timex did instead, was release the civilian MK1 in 1983. A watch that is still very popular today.
