Timex made Olympic watches for the U.S. team in both 1976 and 1980 (possibly also 1972). These were primarily issued to Olympic staff and team members. The piece pictured here belonged to the late Jim Vancisin, Yale coaching legend and early director of the NABC. Jim was on the staff for both the 1976 and 1980 U.S.A. Men’s basketball teams.
